The Vintage Ice Cream Company specialises in the supply of fully staffed classic ice cream and catering vans. All our vans are based on original chassis and authentically restored both mechanically and aesthetically before being fitted with modern catering equipment.

Our vans are available to any suitable site with sufficient footfall to which we will pay a site fee. This means you can add a vintage ice cream or catering van as an attraction to your site and generate extra revenue at the same time.
We work closely with our clients to create a bespoke menu to suit each site and can even customise the vans to match the look and feel of the venue.
The vehicles can be supplied on a short or long term basis. Typical sites that are suitable are large-scale tourist attractions and events. The vans are also available on short-term rental for corporate events and film shoots.
The vehicles are featured at some of the country's most recognised attractions such as the British Museum in London.

Our history
2The Vintage Ice Cream Company was born out of a passion for classic vehicles and natural, locally sourced food. We are a subsidiary of Five Star Catering; a third generation family run business which started with a single van in the 1960s and now comprises of an extensive fleet of ice cream and catering units operating at events and tourist locations all over the country.

Five Star Catering and The Vintage Catering Company operate a quality management system that has gained BS EN ISO 9001 certification. This certification includes aspects specific to mobile contract catering services.
It is vital that event organisers have the utmost confidence in the contractors they appoint. The ISO 9001 certification gives that assurance.
